Invisible Prisons #TheBQBGuestBlogger Brian Allen, BJA Coaching

I love this concept of an invisible prison because if it’s invisible then how do you know if you’re inside it or not?

That’s the first point, then the second point is why it is indeed invisible?

Why can we not see it?

It could be argued that if you can’t see something, touch it or prove it exists then maybe it’s not real?

Well yes that’s fine if we are only to use the physical 5 senses that most of us have if we are blessed with all 5 in our lives.

But I have never seen a mobile signal, or electricity or the wind for that matter in a way that I can capture it on camera.

I have however experienced all 3 of the above, once these energies have been converted and channeled into different forms of energy that is instantly recognizable. So it’s really a case of what your using as a factor to prove or disprove if something exists or not.

Personally, I am a man of many experiences which I can use in my everyday life and certainly when I am coaching people into achieving their dreams and desires.

Sometimes I coach people into their own set goals other times I am able to find hidden goals that they certainly desire but for whatever reason have been packed away and put into the attic or loft of life, never to be seen again until it’s too late or at best becomes a lost treasure.

People can never move on until they know where they are. If you have no idea where your present location is then it becomes almost impossible to know how long it will take to get to where it is you want to go.

So if you’re inside an invisible prison then it’s very easy to see why we all from time to time feel trapped.

Prisons are places that we can conjure up with ease; we form pictures and ideas of discomfort, lack of freedom, doors being constantly shut behind us, doors that are locked and keep us from going where we want to go and when.

It’s a pretty scary place for even the most hardened minded people, it’s just that some can hide it better than others, some can brave it out better, and some can just survive it better than others.

Well as you are reading this I know you can relate to all I say here because we all have imaginations, we can use our minds and thoughts. You have only got to read a book or watch a film to get into the part of the prisoner to imagine what it must be like.

Ok so I know you’re following my drift here but why did I name this post as “invisible prisons”…?

Well it’s because so many people are in what I call “invisible prisons” or they are trapped by invisible prison bars. I am referring to the things in life that keep us from being who we are, or keep us locked into relationships that we know are doomed, they stop us from moving on, or simply keep us from being who we truly are as individual’s.

You see these prison bars are mainly actually our own values and beliefs that no longer serve us as they once did.

Life has a way of silently turning us into creatures of habit that get stuck in a comfort zone that then becomes a place of acceptance.

Well it’s this “acceptance” that needs to be broken; it’s this acceptance that forms the “invisible Prison bars” I speak of.

So the first thing you need to do, is to recognize that you are not 100% happy in a situation or in your own life.

Then you need to track down each and every aspect in your life that is forming or representing one of these “invisible prison bars” Once you know what they are you can then address how you intend to get rid of them by dissolving them.

What I can tell you is you will need to address each and every one individually, and then dispose of it fairly quickly before others are formed.

It’s not easy but it’s also not that difficult if you know how, all you need is the right tools and the right person to guide you through how to use these tools.

So there you have it, Invisible prisons that keep you locked in can be just as powerful and as real as the physical ones that you would expect to see in a jail house.

My question to you is are you aware of your own invisible Prisons?

The first sign that they exist is when you’re not being your authentic self and living with passion every day of your life.

Another sign will be when you’re not truly inspired by what you’re doing for a living.

Are you doing what you do purely to earn a living or are you doing it because you love it so much you would do it for free ….It’s worth thinking about this isn’t it?

invisible prison

So as you can now see by the image depicted here, it shows a man dressed by choice in a prisoners uniform and he chooses to see prison bars on the wall, but these bars are only a reflection of what he chooses to look at.

The shadow you see has been cast only through his open widow of his home and the sun has caught its obstacle to reflect this.

It’s just his gardens railings or fence casting its shadow.

The point being it’s so easy to see things that are not really there.

But he dresses for the part and chooses to think like a prisoner”
