Six years on and still creating a buzz in the Channel Islands

Well, I am not sure I quite imagine the journey I was embarking into when I set up six years ago and since then; I am still creating a buzz in the Channel Islands.

I started the business to enable me to work around the children and also share my passion; starting with 4 services, the business has evolved so much and when I was called, by one of my clients, ‘Customer Service Catalyst’, I realised that I actually achieved my business vision.

I am so proud of what I, and my busy bees, have achieved in just six years of business. We are now mystery shopping for over 40 companies in four islands, Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight, with 80 professionally trained mystery shoppers.

Winning the IoD winner of the Jersey Director for the Year awards last year was great honour and an amazing recognition for my passion and commitment to the delivery of service excellence.

I am now board member of the Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA), and also sit on the board of the Retail Committee of the Jersey Chamber of Commerce.

I launched last year, Speed Buzzing; a series networking events, which have expended rapidly and  now caters to the Guernsey market, as well as Jersey. There truly is a buzz about town when we have our speed networking events in the islands. I have drop-in sessions for people that want to come along and have a group conversation over coffee and we also have our speed buzzing events, which are more energetic and great fun. We have helped hundreds of people to get connected – and expand their network!

I love everything about what I do in my role, as The Busy Queen Bee, and the best of all is I share it with people who have the same passion as me, but my biggest achievement is to have managed to do what a love around my children, enabling me to thrive as a professional business woman and a mum.
